Nine dead goats were found at a property in Township of the North Shore, police say.
Ontario Provincial Police and Provincial Animal Welfare Services partnered on an investigation that started in March.

The animals were not given proper food, water or shelter for an extended time. One goat was found alive.
Leonard “Len” Menard, 61, of North Shore Township, was charged with cause damage or injury to animal or bird and three counts cruelty to animals.
He was supposed to appear in bail court in Blind River on Tuesday.
