A prison inmate who escaped from a Sept. 4 work detail is still at-large, authorities said Tuesday.

Stacy Huggins did not report back to the Augusta Transitional Center on Taylor Street from his assigned work detail at 4337 Wilson Rd. in Hephzibah, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office .

Huggins "left his work site on foot in an unknown direction and never returned to the site," the RCSO said in a statement. Authorities described him as about 60-year-old White male who is 5-foot-6 and 136 pounds.

Anyone with information on Huggins’ whereabouts is asked to call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at (706) 821-1020 or dial 911.
