LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Ingham County Prosecutor's Office has charged Kristen Wilcox, 26, with assault with intent to murder following a stabbing Sunday at an Applebee's in Lansing.

Police say the stabbing happened around 4 p.m. Sept. 7, following a fight that began in the parking lot. The Lansing Police Department (LPD) said a 34-year-old was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition.

LPD said two people were taken into custody. It is unclear how the fight started or whether the people involved knew each other, police said.

Wilcox was arraigned in the 54-A District Court on Tuesday. Bond was set at $50,000. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18, and a preliminary examination is scheduled for Sept. 25.
