AVOYELLES PARISH, La. (KALB) - Two burglary suspects have been arrested with the assistance of a drone, according to the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Bunkie police said the suspects fled the warehouse on foot. They established a perimeter, and APSO deployed a drone, which located both suspects hiding in the woods near the property.

Police arrested Rondrick Gerome Hawkins, 51, of Forest Hill, and Craig Allen Bell, 48, of Bunkie. Both were charged with criminal trespassing and simple burglary and were booked into the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office Detention Center #1.
