WAYNE COUNTY, Ill. (WEVV) — A minister and community college volleyball coach is facing several serious charges in Wayne County.

Wayne County Court records show Chet Snyder was arrested on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, criminal sexual abuse, unlawful restraint, and unlawful delivery of alcohol to a minor.

According to a citation obtained by 44News, Snyder is accused of inappropriately touching a victim under the age of 18 in 2016.

The citation says Snyder, a teacher, coach, and youth minister, was in a "position of authority" in relation to the victim.
