OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - A new RV and boat storage facility is now open in Ocala.

Beacon RV and Boat Storage held their ribbon cutting this morning at their location on Southwest 38th Street near the airport.

They’re bringing more than 400 parking spaces for both boats and RVs.

According to the National Marine Manufacturers Association, some powerboat sales are actually down, while other sources say used boats sales are up.

Officials say it’s a great way to address the constant growth Marion County is experiencing.

People have already started bringing their RVs and boats to the facility.

There is both covered and uncovered parking available.
