President Donald Trump is warning foreign companies with business in the U.S. to follow American immigration laws.
Trump wrote Sunday on Truth Social that he was “calling on all Foreign Companies investing in the United States to please respect our Nation’s Immigration Laws,” according to Politico .
“Your Investments are welcome, and we encourage you to LEGALLY bring your very smart people ... and we will make it quickly and legally possible for you to do so,” Trump wrote, according to Politico, adding he expected overseas firms to “hire and train American Workers.”
Trump’s comments came after federal agents raided a Hyundai plant in Georgia and arrested about 475 workers. About 300 South Koreans were detained in the raid, according to Reuters .
