BEDFORD — The City of Bedford Utilities has announced that the precautionary boil water order has been lifted, effective immediately on September 9, 2025.

The order had been in place for several areas, including Shawnee Drive South, Evergreen Drive, Shawnee Drive, Express Drive, Ted Jones Drive Apartments, Austin Drive, Stoneway Drive, Industrial Park Drive, Kenny Simpson Lane, and 3120 Brock Lane. The boil order was also lifted for 35th Street from Highway 37 to 2605 35th Street and 2606 35th Street.

For any further information, residents can contact Bedford City Utilities from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, or after hours at the Water Filtration Plant .
