SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A Northampton man pleaded guilty to drug and firearm charges in Springfield federal court on Monday.

Charging documents stated that on April 9, officers were called to the Howard Johnson hotel lobby regarding a man brandishing a firearm. The suspect was identified as 35-year-old Gabriel Lebron of Northampton and found to have a Jimenez Arms Model JA 25, .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol loaded with five rounds of ammunition.

Officers searched Lebron and also found ten "snap caps" of crack cocaine and two bundles of heroin. During the time of Lebron's arrest, he was on federal supervised release for a firearms conviction in Vermont, where he was charged with possessing a loaded ghost gun with a laser sight and multiple rounds of ammunition.
