MARINE PARK — The Kings County Criminal Bar Association (KCCBA), a community legal organization dedicated to the betterment of the criminal justice system in Brooklyn, held its annual Charity Golf Outing at the Marine Park Golf Course the afternoon of Sept. 5.

The all-day annual event is the brainchild of Paul Hirsch, Esq., KCCBA’s executive vice president.

Hirsch told the Brooklyn Eagle that the organization expects to raise upwards of $10,000 this year — a bit more than previous years.

“We should have close to 100 people here today,” Hirsch said, adding that the main charities KCCBA will be donating to will be the Brooklyn Golf Alliance and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in the name of former member James Koenig, a defense attorney who took his own life some years ago.
