John Ball Zoo's newest tiny resident—an adorable 11-pound pygmy hippo calf—will finally reveal whether they're a little prince or princess this Thursday.

The pint-sized bundle of joy arrived on September 3rd to first-time parents Penelope and Jahari, making history as the very first pygmy hippo born at John Ball Zoo. And just like any modern baby announcement, this little one is getting the full gender reveal treatment.
