A Twin Cities man is facing attempted murder charges after he allegedly stabbed his parents in a "drug-induced rage," leaving them critically injured, at a Champlin home Friday.
Charges have been filed against Travis Lester, 40, of Circle Pines, whose parents remained intubated as of Monday.
According to the criminal complaint, Lester's father told police that his son stabbed him in a "drug-induced rage."
Around 6 p.m. Friday, officers responding to a reported assault found the Lester's father suffering from stab wounds on the deck of the home and rushed him to the street, where officers began providing aid as the man went into shock. Lester's mother was found inside a neighboring home with a four-inch wound to her neck and other serious injuries.
