At about 2:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Centre Street, police said Tuesday. Article content

They identified the driver as a 39-year-old man who had a suspended driver’s licence, and arrested him, police added.

“A search after the arrest yielded a quantity of methamphetamine, cutting agent, Canadian currency and multiple cellphones,” police continued.

Police charged the man with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking, driving while under suspension, and being a class G1 licence holder while unaccompanied by a qualified driver.

He was released with a future court date.
