BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - Four retired carousel horses have new life thanks to a collaboration between local artists, a local foundation and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Several years ago, the Ponies acquired the horses from the City of Binghamton. Many years ago, they were on display on downtown city sidewalks.

The Broome County Arts Council, with support from the Binghamton Arts and Athletics Community Fund, commissioned 4 local artists to repaint the horses which will now be on display at every Mirabito Stadium entrance during Rumble Ponies games.

Ann Pellegrino, who works under the title Spotgirl Design, decorated the horse sponsored by the Arts Council.
