GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — ArtPrize 2025 will soon take over the City of Grand Rapids once again.
“It's a chance to really discover, rediscover downtown and our urban core and just, come out and be a part of the vibrant community life that takes place during ArtPrize”, said Executive Director Whitington.
ArtPrize executive director Catlin Whitington and Exhibitions Director JoLee Kirkikis sat down with 13 ON YOUR SIDE to break down what people can expect this year and they say it’s starting off with some New Orleans style flair.
“ The opening celebration , specifically, our parade, is going to feature really kind of a second-line-style, New Orleans-style parade. Rosa Parks circle is going to have a lot of activity taking place. So imagine a pedestrian parade through downtown,” said Whiting
