On Monday, Sept. 8, the A-B-E Cross Country team competed in the Long Prairie Grey Eagle Invitational.
Lauren Thoennes led the way with a solid performance for the girls team, according to Head Coach Robert Bosma. He said, "She wanted to run a relaxed first half of the race and see how it could change the second half of the course. It went well for her."
Bosma also said that Lexi Bitzan is pushing herself each meet and improved her time again with the tough course. She is starting to come into her stride on this difficult course, he added.
As for the boys team, Bosma said Benjamin Myron had a huge improvement over the first couple races. Additionally, Kenneth Spielman and Landyn Johnson also ran well with Kaleb Fuglseth and Merick Elmer right behind. He said they all worked to run as a
