Few American authors have been as successful or influential in popular culture as Stephen King. Since his first novel Carrie, was published over 50 years ago, he’s left an imprint on our shared cultural imaginations like no writer since maybe Mark Twain (yes, we went there). As someone who has had incredible films made from his works (and a few stinkers), it’s fitting that King is a massive movie buff.
