LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - In less than a month, one of the nation’s best art shows will return to Old Louisville.
Monday, leaders with the Saint James Court Art Show gave a small preview of the event that attracts hundreds of thousands of people.
More than 600 artists representing 17 different mediums will showcase their work next month.
It’s a tradition that’s grown bigger and bigger for nearly 70 years.
“And this year, and the last few years, we’ve had double the number of applicants to fill 600 and something spots, and that is a testament to this show and its longevity and the importance of this show to the art world, and to the state, locally and to the United States,” St. James Court Art Show Executive Director Howard Rosenberg said.
