ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) - A local couple is bringing new business to Rochester's Park Avenue with Frost & Foundry Ice Cream.

Michael and Marie Carducci opened the shop over the weekend at the corner of Park Ave. and Colby Street, part of the city's ABC Streets neighborhood.

"Obviously, this area is more residential. It doesn’t have to feel like you’re running an errand going out to get ice cream somewhere," said Marie Carducci, co-owner of Frost & Foundry.

Michael is a Rochester native and Marie moved here in 2010 from Zambia. The husband and wife share four kids and both work full-time, but say they had room for a bit more on their plates.

"One thing led to another and we just felt like, why stop there?" said Marie.
