ATLANTA — The man accused in the 2021 series of deadly spa shootings in metro Atlanta is expected to appear in court for a full week.

Robert Aaron Long previously pleaded guilty to killing four victims in Cherokee County at Young's Asian Massage Parlor, which was the first shooting. The next two shootings happened at Gold Spa, located on Piedmont Road in Midtown, where three people were killed, and then across the street, where one person was left dead at Aromatherapy Spa.

Long is serving life in prison over the Cherokee County conviction, but continues to face a case in Atlanta in which District Attorney Fani Willis has previously indicated she will seek the death penalty. Long faces 19 charges total, including felony murder and domestic terrorism in the Fulton County case.
