SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Saturday night’s matchup is a big one, as No. 8 Notre Dame takes on 16th-ranked Texas A&M.
The Irish are no strangers to the Aggies, having opened last season against them . But while it’s the same program on paper, a lot has changed for Texas A&M since that last meeting.
Let’s start with the quarterback position. The Aggies are now led by sophomore Marcel Reed. He went down with an injury last week against Utah State, but early reports suggest he’s expected to be ready for Saturday.
Staying on the offensive side of the ball, Mario Craver and KC Concepcion have been Texas A&M’s top receiving threats. Craver has already found the endzone three times while Concepcion has hauled in nine catches for 145 yards and three touchdowns of his own.
