SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
After 11 years of hosting Sacramento's Farm to Fork Festival along Capitol Mall, the annual event put on by the city's tourism bureau is evolving to its next phase and location.
Mike Testa, president and CEO of Visit Sacramento, joined KCRA 3 on Tuesday to talk about Farm to Fork at Terra Madre Americas, which is being promoted as the largest food event Sacramento will have ever hosted.
From Sept. 26-28, Terra Madre will combine with the Farm to Fork Festival to create a new way to experience food inside the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. The regular Farm to Fork Festival will be outside the center.
According to Testa, Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is one of the largest food events in Europe, bringing in about 300,000 people from about 120 different countries.
