COLUSA COUNTY, Calif. —

A flash flood warning was issued for Colusa County on Tuesday, as thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the area.

The National Weather Service said between 1 and 1.7 inches of rain have fallen, and additional rainfall is likely.

The warning is in place until 10 p.m.

Officials said flash flooding is possible in small creeks, streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses and other poor drainage or low-lying areas.
