ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The teenager accused of shooting and killing 18-year-old Holden Howse appeared in Roane County court on Tuesday.
The hearing was to decide whether 17-year-old Riley Pawlick would be allowed to be released from custody. After hearing from four witnesses, the judge decided he would remain in jail for now.
Pawlick is charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault and destruction of evidence. He is accused of "pistol-whipping" one victim and shooting and killing Howse during a party on August 30 at the Mr. Clean business in Harriman.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Luke Webb interviewed Pawlick after the shooting. On the witness stand, he testified about that conversation.
