BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - The music of two legendary rock and roll bands will help make life a little easier for those battling cancer.

Sock Out Cancer announced the details of its annual fundraising concert.

The Phillip Myers Band will present The Beatles versus The Rolling Stones at the Forum next month. The band will alternate between playing the most popular number 1 hits from each band in chronological order.

Sock Out Cancer raises money through this event and the sale of rainbow-colored socks and then gives the funds to the foundations for UHS, Guthrie Lourdes and the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital which treats pediatric cancer patients from our area.
