HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — The Fire Division of Holland's Public Safety Department has been called back to the LG Energy Solution plant twice in the days following Saturday's chemical spill that sent 16 people to local hospitals.

The department expressed measured concern about the number of calls Tuesday while sharing additional information on each of the three calls.

"We have had a series of incidents lately," Captain of Operations Chris Tinney told News 8. "I think that has spurred on some continuous discussion with LG."

The most recent of those calls was early Tuesday morning, when fire personnel were dispatched to the plant to respond to reports that two employees were suffering chemical burns.
