BULLHEAD CITY — Coming off wins in their last game, the Mohave and River Valley football teams will meet in the River Bowl. The Thunderbirds have won the last four head-to-head meetings and beat Lake Havasu 27-21 a week ago in the Golden Shovel Game. The Dust Devils had a dominant first half, scoring six touchdowns, and went on to win 40-12 over Shadow Mountain. Mohave Accelerated Learning Center also had a win last week against Baboquivari. They play Salome High School, a team they lost to in the regular season but defeated in the first round of the playoffs last year. Desert Star looks to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Chino Valley in their last game. After beating Kingman Academy in Week 1, they have allowed 109 points in their last two games. ×
