BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - Excitement is building as the Rumble Ponies prepare to try and bring another championship trophy to Binghamton.

The team is currently 40 and 23 and leading the second half divisional standings by 4 and a half games over Somerset.

President and former owner David Sabotka says it's been a magical season, with the Ponies on pace to record the most victories ever by a Binghamton professional baseball team. And even though many of the stars from the first half of the season have been called up to the Major League New York Mets, the Rumble Ponies have kept winning.
