FARGO — Jeffry J. Volk, described by city leaders as someone who built companies, strengthened institutions and uplifted others throughout his 40-year career, has been named The Chamber’s 2025 Legacy Leader.
Volk, who guided Moore Engineering and later Moore Holding Company into “one of the region’s most respected employee-owned firms,” will be honored at The Chamber’s Annual Celebration Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Fargo, according to Shannon Full, president and CEO of the FMWF Chamber.
Volk grew up on a dairy farm near Raleigh, N.D., and attended St. Gertrude’s High School. Life on the farm taught him discipline, responsibility, and the value of hard work—lessons that would serve him well throughout his life.
