PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspected vandal after someone drew swastikas on the Oregon Jewish Holocaust Museum in the early morning of July 29.
At around 12:30 a.m., the windows of the museum located at 724 NW Davis St. were vandalized with the swastikas drawn in light blue with a paint pen, several inches in height, PPB said. The tag "@cowface23" was also found near the swastikas but in a different colored ink, police said.
PPB officers responded to the incident the following day. Since then, the investigation has continued to develop, with the latest lead being a man captured on surveillance camera believed to be the suspect. Photos of the unidentified man, seen wearing a baseball cap and a t-shirt, were released
