WASHINGTON, Arkansas (KTAL/KMSS) — Historic Washington State Park is hosting Frontier Days.
The event starts at 9 a.m. The park will host homeschool groups on September 19 and other visitors on September 20.
The experience will feature programming at multiple locations around the park, replicating the early settlement period of southwest Arkansas in the early 19th century.
There will be a frontier encampment on the grounds between the Blacksmith Shop and the large magnolia tree.
Reservations are recommended. Admission is $5.50 per person plus tax. Contact the park visitor center at (870) 983-2684 to register.
