TORONTO -- The Astros' rotation appears to have taken another hit.
In just his second start back from a 28-month rehab from Tommy John surgery , right-hander Luis Garcia exited with right elbow discomfort in the second inning of Tuesday night’s series opener against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.
Garcia threw an 88 mph pitch to Ernie Clement and immediately signaled to the dugout. It appeared as though he pointed to his surgically repaired right arm.
Manager Joe Espada, accompanied by a team trainer, met with Garcia on the mound briefly before taking him out of the game. AJ Blubaugh came on in relief.
With Spencer Arrighetti placed on the injured list with right elbow inflammation on Wednesday , Garcia had returned two days earlier to make his season debut. He allowed three runs
