White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt fiercely defended President Donald Trump after the release of a bawdy letter that was purportedly sent to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Trump is facing fresh scrutiny after congressional Democrats released a birthday letter to Epstein that was apparently signed by Trump for the disgraced financier’s 50th birthday in 2003. Trump has denied writing the letter, which he has said is “fake.”
