LinQuest , part of KBR , was awarded a large military contract Monday.

The company specializes in advanced engineering, data analytics and digital integration. It was tapped by the Department of Defense to develop a collaborative engineering ecosystem in Colorado Springs.

The contract has a "not to exceed price" of $98.7 million with $5.5 million paid at the time of the award. It is expected to be completed by Sept. 7, 2028, per the Department of Defense.

Though awarded to LinQuest, KBR will be responsible for executing the contract. It will build the "Integration Accelerator," according to the defense department's announcement.
