MANCHESTER, N.H. —
State officials are working with relatives of the fourth and final identified Bear Brook murder victim to return her remains to her family.
Rea Rasmussen was publicly identified on Sunday , 25 years after her body was found in a barrel in Bear Brook State Park.
She was one of four people killed and left in Allenstown in the late 1970s or early 1980s. The other victims were identified in 2019.

The man who killed them was Rea's father, Terry Rasmussen.
Investigators are now trying to determine what happened to Rea's mother, Pepper Reed, who disappeared in the late 1970s.
The New Hampshire Cold Case Unit said it is making plans to return Rea to her family.
