ORRINGTON -- Parents with children in Orrington's Center Drive School are making their voices heard about bullying concerns.
Those concerned parents made their voices heard at Tuesday evening's school committee meeting, making a public plea to the board to take bullying claims more seriously and adopt a policy that is more in line with the Maine Department of Education standards. They say their school administration has failed to protect their students in instances of bullying.
"The bullies need help, obviously. All the kids need it. When you're ignoring these bullies at 9 years old, when they're doing it this bad, they're obviously crying out for help," said parent Erin Lagacki.
Lagacki discussed her child's experience with other parents, who also came forward to talk about what their
