ARLINGTON, TX -- Despite a late home-run in the ninth by Jake Bauers, the Milwaukee Brewers were unable to complete their comeback against the Texas Rangers as they lost 5-4 on Tuesday night.

After going down early 1-0, Milwaukee struck for three runs in the fifth on an infield single by Christian Yelich and an RBI single by William Contreras.

Texas quickly struck back in the next half-inning on a home run by Michael Helman, followed by a triple by Wyatt Langford and Kyle Higashioka added to the lead with an RBI double.

RHP Chad Patrick started the game and went 4.1 innings, three hits, three runs, and struck out six. Aaron Ashby came in after Patrick and went 1.2 innings, allowed two runs, four hits, and struck out two.
