FARGO — The Good Samaritan Society’s Fargo assisted living location has received national recognition with the Silver Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.

The facility earned the Bronze Level distinction last year and is now the only assisted living center in Fargo to earn the Silver Award.

Residents and staff celebrated the honor with cake, punch and musical entertainment.

Savanna Houle, a nursing leader at the facility, said the award motivates staff to continue delivering some of the best care in the area.
