MOORHEAD – In a rematch of one 2024 Section 8-3A semifinal, Moorhead got revenge on the Bemidji High School boys soccer team.

The Spuds defeated the Lumberjacks 2-0 on Tuesday night with a goal in each half.

Eric Kolo broke the ice in the 21st minute with a helper from Tyler Gast. Ibrahim Abdi scored the second goal with an assist from Diyar Selman in the 62nd minute.

BHS keeper Kellen Heuer stopped six of the eight shots on target he faced. Rylan Ste Marie made all seven saves for the Spuds.

Moorhead 2, Bemidji 0

BHS 0 0 – 0

MHD 1 1 – 2

Bemidji – No scoring.

Moorhead – Kolo 21’ (Gast); Abdi 62’ (Selman).
