Vulcan-Norway-Loretto Lions Club recently made a $2,000 donation to Northwoods AirLifeline. Northwoods AirLifeline is a non-profit organization of volunteer pilots from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and northeast Wisconsin who donate their time and aircraft to help patients and their families with urgent medical needs get to services not found locally. Since its founding in 1989, more than 2,200 missions have been flown to destinations throughout the upper Midwest, all at no cost to the individual.
