Actor Ryan Reynolds will be in Boston next month to pay tribute to late comedian John Candy with the screening of a new documentary

The tribute will include a screening of the new documentary about Candy called, "John Candy: I Like Me"

The event will take place at the Shubert Theatre in Boston in October

Actor, producer, entrepreneur and Canada native Ryan Reynolds is coming to Boston to pay tribute to one of his favorite fellow Canadians.

Reynolds will be in town at the Boch Center Shubert Theatre next month to pay tribute to late comedy actor John Candy with a screening of the new film, "John Candy: I Like Me."

Candy passed away at the age of 43 from a heart attack on March 4, 1994.
