CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A violent crash into a building sent two people to the hospital, split a vehicle in half and knocked over a utility pole overnight, according to Cincinnati police.

It happened on Groesbeck Road near Hamilton Avenue in College Hill around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.

FOX19 NOW observed two people in ambulances leaving the scene for the hospital.

All injuries are non-life-threatening, police said.

Polic say one vehicle crashed into a multi-family residence and bounced off it, knocking over a pole with its wires still attached. That vehicle was found on its side.

A second vehicle that was involved was split in half, according to police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Duke Energy responded to the scene due to the downed pole.
