TOLEDO, Ohio — Power to a local business was cut off after an attached apartment caught on fire overnight in central Toledo.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. near Buckingham and Pulaski Street. The apartment is connected to Watkins Carryout, forcing the power to be shut off to the business.
The fire battalion chief on scene told WTOL 11 the fire was in a stairway leading up to the second floor apartment, which is believe to be vacant.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
