Falmouth Jewish Congregation invites the public to a virtual Jewish Book Council author talk by Canadian-Israeli author Ayelet Tsabari on her novel “Songs for the Brokenhearted” on Thursday, September 18, at noon.

The free event is one of a series of both in-person and virtual Jewish Book Council author talks that are open to the public and take place each month. Visit the congregation's website to register for the Zoom talk to view at home. Books are available at Eight Cousins Books in Falmouth.

Tsabari’s memoir, “The Art of Leaving,” was a finalist for the Writer’s Trust Hilary Weston Prize, winner of the Canadian Jewish Literary Award for memoir and an Apple Books and Kirkus Review Best Book of 2019. Her first book, “The Best Place on Earth,” won the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Liter
