FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a commercial fire just after midnight on Wednesday in the Great Falls area.

Crews were dispatched to the 11110 block of Georgetown Pike to find heavy fire coming from several buildings.

Photos and video from the scene taken by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue showed heavy smoke and large flames engulfing buildings.

The Fairfax County police helicopter located the fire while returning from a call and notified the fire department. Crews began a defensive attack to prevent the fire from spreading.

In a post on X around 12:20 a.m. on Sept. 10, the fire was under control.

No injuries were reported.
