SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - After a few pleasant days with low humidity and below-average temperatures, you will feel the heat and humidity make a slow return today. Temperatures will stay toasty through the weekend with no rain in sight.

Wednesday: The first half of the day will be very nice with sunrise temperatures in the 50s and 60s under mostly clear skies. High pressure is expanding across Texas and nosing into the ArkLaTex, and this has cut off the pleasant Canadian air that has given us the early taste of Fall. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s this afternoon, with a heavier humid airmass taking over throughout the day.
