Bell Canada is providing an update on the work completed to-date in fire ravaged communities in Conception Bay North.

Bell has replaced all of the close to 13 km of damaged fibre through nine communities, and close to 7 km of the nearly 15 km of damaged copper has been replaced.

All damaged or destroyed electronics at communications hubs have been restored, and 154 damaged or destroyed poles have been installed.

Bell thanks its staff for working around the clock and navigating through burnt rubble and challenging conditions to restore service to the area as quickly and safely as possible.
