Gov. Kevin Stitt says that in the first week of Operation Safe, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers have cleaned up over 500,000 pounds of trash and debris in Tulsa.

News 9's Haley Hetrick sat down to discuss his new initiative to clear homeless encampments on state property.

"I think they're going really well. We've heard from citizens all over Tulsa, they're just so thankful, business owners saying, 'Governor, thank you, we backed up to some of these encampments. We've called the police numerous times nothing ever happens.' Why we even intervened was because the business community reached out and say, 'Hey, this is getting out of control.' ...
