DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — First responders and community members are gathering to pay their respects to a fallen firefighter.

Master firefighter Preston Fant , 53, died while battling a warehouse fire on Monday in Lithonia. Fire Chief Darnell Fullum said Fant was trapped in the building after he went inside to rescue another firefighter.
