TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The trial has been rescheduled for the man accused of opening fire on Florida State University’s campus earlier this year.

During a court hearing Wednesday, Phoenix Ikner’s trial date was rescheduled to March 30, 2026.

The 21-year-old is accused of firing shots on FSU’s campus in April , killing two people and leaving multiple others injured.

The suspected gunman was initially set to stand trial on November 3 .

The trial’s new date comes just a week after WCTV learned Ikner was set to get a new attorney.
